Peugeot, the French automaker, has unveiled its new electric fastback SUV, the E-3008, which promises to offer a next-level driving experience with its sleek design, innovative technology, and impressive performance. The E-3008 is the first model to use Stellantis’ brand-new STLA Medium platform, which enables it to achieve a range of up to 700 km (435 miles), a recharge time of 30 minutes, and a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). The E-3008 will be available in two trim levels, Allure and GT, with three option packs and three all-electric powertrains. The E-3008 will be produced exclusively at the Sochaux plant in France and will go on sale from February 2024.
Design: A Fastback SUV with a Reinvigorated Look
The E-3008 inherits its predecessor's signature fastback SUV silhouette, the Peugeot 3008, but with a more refined and aerodynamic look. The front end features a new grille that combines elegance and functionality and ultra-thin LED headlights that adapt their beams to traffic conditions. The side profile showcases a dynamic curve that enhances the sportiness and dynamism of the vehicle. The rear end has a distinctive spoiler that adds stability and elegance. The E-3008 also offers 520 liters of boot space, which can be expanded by folding down the rear seats.
Technology: A Panoramic i-Cockpit that Enhances Driving Pleasure
The Peugeot E-3008 is equipped with the next-generation Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit, which is a digital cockpit that integrates all the information and functions of the vehicle on one screen. The Panoramic i-Cockpit® offers an immersive and intuitive driving experience, as it allows the driver to access various features such as navigation, media streaming, climate control, phone calls, messages, and more with just a glance or a touch. The Panoramic i-Cockpit also supports over-the-air updates that can improve its functionality and performance over time.
