Stellantis endows the "Dare Forward 2030" strategic plan

Stellantis endows the "Dare Forward 2030"

Stellantis is making changes to its staff starting June 1, 2022, as part of its "Dare Forward 2030" strategic plan, announced in March 2022. This is 15 months after the company was formed.

Carlos Tavares, Stellantis CEO, said: "The daily challenges and profound transformation of the automotive industry require organizational agility and talent in the right place at the right time within our company." Following the successful launch of Stellantis operations, these appointments reflect the ambitious ambitions of our 'Dare Forward 2030' strategic plan. They will contribute to the transformation we started when Stellantis was founded in January 2021. "

Maxim Picatwill is appointed Chief Purchasing and Supply Chain Officer, succeeding Michelle Wen, who will focus on personal projects. Picat has demonstrated strategic vision and leadership throughout his international career in manufacturing, managing regions, and brands. His analytical skills and personality will enable him to build relationships of trust with suppliers and improve Stellantis' short-and medium-term performance in this strategic field of activity. The division is focused on reducing the cost of electric vehicles by 40% to ensure mobility affordability. At the same time, a robust sourcing strategy is used in this area. This strategy is reliable and safe no matter what happens.

Stellantis endows the "Dare Forward 2030"

Uwe Hochschurtz is appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Enlarged Europe region, succeeding Maxime Picat. Hochschurtz is a highly qualified and successful sales and marketing professional with strong leadership skills and an openness to transformative challenges such as electrification, online sales, and digital marketing. He has over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry in several countries, especially in international sales. Uwe Hochschurtz also has a solid ability to implement decisions quickly, communicate effectively with his teams, and provide strong momentum in this strategically important region that aims to be number one in Europe with double-digit percentage returns.

As Chief Executive Officer of Opel and Vauxhall, Florian Huettl will succeed Uwe Hochschurtz and be part of Stellantis' top executive team. He joined Stellantis in March 2021 and today holds the position of Opel Sales and Marketing Director for the Greater Europe region. Previously, he successfully held various positions in the automotive industry in different countries, including the UK, Germany, and Russia. Huettl will be in charge of the commercial growth of Stellantis's only German brand and its move into the electric age around the world.

Currently responsible for the UK market, Alison Jones will assume the position of Senior Vice President of Circular Economy at a global level, reporting to Philippe de Rovira, Stellantis Chief Affiliates Officer. It will give new impetus to the circular economy, one of the main pillars of the Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan. Their goal is to reach a turnover of 2 billion euros in 2030, with revenues from extended life quadrupling and revenues from recycling tenfold. The appointment of Alison Jones, who brings remarkable leadership, outstanding business insight, an ongoing commitment to transformative issues, and a strategic vision, reflects Stellantis' commitment to the environment and its willingness to build a sustainable and profitable business. Advances in the circular economy are regularly presented to our governing bodies.
