Chrysler has an unusual message for parents: STFU. Its new 2027 Chrysler Pacifica 'Acronyms' campaign borrows three familiar text-message abbreviations and gives them family-friendly interpretations tied to minivan chores. The joke draws attention, but the practical pitch centers on seating, cleanup, rear-seat visibility and entertainment.
Chrysler launched the digital and social campaign in 2026 with three short spots. Agency GSDM created the work with Chrysler, using everyday family pressure instead of a conventional feature tour.
What Chrysler's acronym ads show
| Spot | Length | Campaign role |
|---|---|---|
| STFU | 30 seconds | Leads the campaign with its most attention-grabbing shorthand. |
| IDGAF | 15 seconds | Extends the same family-life premise in a shorter format. |
| FML | 15 seconds | Adds a third take on routine parenting frustrations. |
The ads connect their jokes to Stow 'n Go seats, the available Stow 'n Vac vacuum, FamCam, Amazon Fire TV and power sliding doors. Chrysler does not present every item as standard equipment. That distinction counts when an ad makes several useful options look like one package.
The hardware behind the joke
The 2027 Pacifica uses a 3.6-liter V-6 rated at 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque with a nine-speed automatic. Its 32.3 cubic feet of cargo room behind the third row expands to a maximum 140.5 cubic feet behind the first row when families stow or remove the rear seats. Chrysler lists up to 99.5 inches of cargo length, a useful measurement for bulky gear that a volume figure alone misses.
- Stow 'n Go lets owners fold the second-row seats into floor bins on LX, Select and Limited trims. Every trim has a stowable third row; Pinnacle uses different second-row seats.
- FamCam lets the driver check rear passengers, including children in rear-facing seats, on the front display. Chrysler offers it on Select and Limited and includes it on Pinnacle.
- Stow 'n Vac helps with crumbs after school runs. Chrysler offers it on Limited and includes it on Pinnacle; rear-seat Fire TV screens come through the Theater Group on Pinnacle.
| 2027 Pacifica trim | Starting MSRP, USD | Second-row Stow 'n Go | FamCam availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| LX FWD | $41,495 | Standard | Not listed |
| Select FWD | $44,545 | Standard | Available |
| Limited FWD | $49,705 | Standard | Available |
| Pinnacle FWD | $54,910 | No; removable or forward-tumbling seats | Standard |
Prices exclude the $1,995 destination charge, taxes and other fees. All-wheel drive costs more and does not come on LX.
Why this matters to you
Chrysler's sharp language may earn the first click. The buying case depends on a less funny question: Which 2027 Pacifica trim has the family features you will actually use? If quick cargo changes top your list, start with LX, Select or Limited and test the second-row folding process in person. If a cabin camera or built-in cleanup tool would save time each week, compare the option packages on Select and Limited against Pinnacle's standard equipment.
Pro-Tip: Bring your child seats and a typical load of sports or travel gear to the dealership. Check rear-facing seat clearance, access to the third row and the floor space you gain when you stow the seats. An entertaining ad can show the problem; that hands-on check tells you if the Pacifica solves yours.
