How to Buy the Jeep Avenger, the European Car of the Year 2023

Jeep Avenger

If you are looking for a compact, electric, and stylish SUV that can handle both urban and off-road adventures, you might want to consider the Jeep Avenger, the European Car of the Year 2023. The Avenger is the first fully electric vehicle from the Jeep brand, and it has impressed both critics and customers with its design, performance, and features. In this article, we will tell you everything you need to know about the Jeep Avenger, including its price, specs, availability, and how it compares to its competitors.

What Makes the Jeep Avenger Special?

The Jeep Avenger is a groundbreaking vehicle for several reasons. First of all, it is the first Jeep model to win the prestigious European Car of the Year award, which is decided by a panel of 57 expert jurors from 22 countries. The Avenger scored 328 points, 87 points more than its closest competitor, the Volkswagen ID Buzz. The jurors praised the Avenger for its combination of practicality, efficiency, and innovation, as well as its distinctive design that reflects the Jeep heritage and identity.

Secondly, the Jeep Avenger is the first fully electric vehicle from the Jeep brand, and it marks a significant step in the brand’s global electrification strategy. The Avenger is powered by a 51 kWh battery that delivers a range of up to 249 miles (WLTP), depending on the wheel size. The battery can be recharged up to 80% in 30 minutes using a 100 kW fast charger. The electric motor produces 154 hp and 200 Nm of torque, enabling the Avenger to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 9.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 87 mph.

Thirdly, the Jeep Avenger is a versatile and capable SUV that can handle different terrains and conditions. The Avenger has a minimum ground clearance of 200 mm, and 230 mm under the battery, which allows it to overcome obstacles and ford water up to 230 mm deep. The Avenger also features the Jeep Active Drive system, which is an intelligent all-wheel drive system that automatically distributes torque between the front and rear axles according to the driving mode and road situation. The Avenger offers four driving modes: Auto, Sport, Snow, and Sand/Mud, as well as a Hill Descent Control function.

What Are the Features and Options of the Jeep Avenger?

The Jeep Avenger is available in three trim levels: Longitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. The Longitude is the entry-level version, and it comes with standard features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, Uconnect 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital instrument cluster, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, and rear parking sensors.

The Limited is the mid-range version, and it adds features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seats, heated front seats and steering wheel, wireless charging pad, keyless entry and start, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, front parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera.

The Trailhawk is the top-of-the-range version, and it is the most off-road-oriented one. It features 18-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires, a Trail Rated badge, unique front and rear bumpers, skid plates, tow hooks, raised suspension, a Selec-Terrain system with Rock mode, and hill descent control.

The Jeep Avenger also offers a range of optional packages and accessories, such as the Technology Pack, which includes a head-up display, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and a premium Alpine sound system. The Style Pack includes a black roof, black mirror caps, and tinted windows. The Comfort Pack includes a power tailgate, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and heated rear seats. The Winter Pack includes a heated windshield, heated washer nozzles, and a heat pump. And the Adventure Pack, which includes a roof rack, a bike carrier, and a cargo organizer.

How Much Does the Jeep Avenger Cost, and When Can You Buy It?

The Jeep Avenger is now available for purchase in Europe, and it has a starting price of €35,900 (about $40,600) for the Longitude version, €39,900 (about $45,200) for the Limited version, and €44,900 (about $50,800) for the Trailhawk version. These prices include the government incentives for electric vehicles, which vary depending on the country. The Jeep Avenger also comes with an 8-year or 100,000-mile warranty on the battery and a 3-year or 60,000-mile warranty on the vehicle.

If you are interested in buying the Jeep Avenger, you can visit the official Jeep website and use the online configurator to customize your vehicle and request a quote from your nearest dealer. You can also book a test drive and explore the financing and leasing options available. Alternatively, you can visit your local Jeep showroom and talk to a sales representative who can assist you with your purchase.

Ultimately, the choice depends on your personal preferences and needs, and you should test-drive the Avenger and its rivals before making a decision.
