The approved towing capacity of the Ford Mustang Mach-E was increased to 1,000 kg on extended range models with both single and twin engines - enough to allow customers to tow a typical small or medium-sized fiberglass fishing boat.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E has also received updates to reduce charging time to 80-90% capacity from 52 minutes to 15 minutes. In addition, the electric SUV also got the One-Pedal usage feature recalibration for smoother speed performance, minor improvements, and improvements in driver comfort.
"The Ford Mustang Mach-E towing capacity upgrade is one of the many free upgrades we continue to make in hardware and software or by approval, to give owners the best possible experience," said Woelpern, Ford of Europe.
