Elecmobility is a new vehicle importer for Spain whose star product is Yoyo. Produced by XEV, a Chinese manufacturer based in Turin, Italy, this Yoyo is a small electric car (2.5 meters long) with three doors and two seats that weigh just over 500 kg, including its batteries.
It is considered L7e, which means that it requires a type B driving license in Spain. Therefore, being over 18 years old and, although they are prohibited from driving on highways or motorways, they can do so for the rest of roads normally.
At the time of the commercial launch of the XEV Yoyo, Elecmobility has requested the administration to allow those over 16 years of age to drive this type of electric vehicle, as is the case in other European countries - Portugal, France, Italy - and as already allowed by a community directive.
Elecmobility sells this quad through dealerships that, initially, would not be exclusive for the sale of XEVs, sharing space with other brands; being its price 14,900 euros, not including any type of subsidy or aid such as Moves III, although it can benefit from this plan.
