Tony Stark's Acura NSX Roadster has reached Cars & Bids with no reserve. The screen-used car from Marvel's 2012 film The Avengers carried a $98,500 bid on October 26, 2026, ahead of its scheduled October 31 close at 2 p.m. PDT. Acura will display it at the Las Vegas Concours alongside the NEXERA Vision.
What Powers the Avengers NSX?
Acura's Los Angeles design team gave a 1991 Acura NSX the styling of the second-generation NSX Concept. Trans FX built the resin-and-fiberglass body, while the car retains its screen-used 'STARK 33' plate. That donor-car foundation supplied functioning mechanical hardware beneath the movie-specific exterior.
The listing describes a 3.0-liter DOHC, 24-valve VTEC V6, rated at approximately 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. These figures describe the listed engine rating; they do not establish this prototype's present performance. Front wheels measure 18 inches in diameter; rear wheels measure 20 inches.
Why This Matters to Buyers
This purchase buys Hollywood provenance with strict usage limits. Acura sells the prototype on a bill of sale, and the listing prohibits titling, registration, and public-road operation. Fragile bodywork and paint cracks also warrant inspection before bidding.
In addition, the listing directs 100% of winning-bid proceeds to a charity that buyer and seller mutually approve. American Honda will reimburse the buyer's auction fee after the sale. Acura also guarantees a Sundance Institute contribution.
