Fiat has recently introduced its new electric crossover, the Fiat 600e, inspired by the iconic 500 model but offers more space, technology, and range. The Fiat 600e is the brand's second all-electric model after the Fiat 500e, and it marks its return to the B-segment, where it competes with rivals like the Hyundai Kona, Kia Niro EV, and Jeep Avenger EV.
Design and Dimensions
The Fiat 600e is based on the same e-CMP platform as the Jeep Avenger, but it has a slightly longer and lower body, measuring 4.17 meters in length, 1.78 meters in width, and 1.53 meters in height. It also has a longer wheelbase of 2.6 meters, which translates into more interior space and comfort for the passengers.
The exterior design of the Fiat 600e is clearly influenced by the retro style of the 500e, with oval headlights, split tail lights, and a rounded silhouette. However, the 600e also adds some distinctive features, such as a large body-colored grille with a "600" badge, black wheel arches and rocker panels for a rugged look, and alloy wheels up to 18 inches in size. The Fiat 600e also boasts a drag coefficient of only 0.28, which helps improve its aerodynamics and efficiency.
One of the most striking aspects of the Fiat 600e is its color palette, which includes 12 shades, none of which are gray. Fiat has decided to eliminate gray from its range, as it considers it a boring and depressing color that does not reflect its cheerful and optimistic identity. Instead, the Fiat 600e offers vibrant and lively colors like red, blue, green, yellow, orange, and pink.
